Healthy Families: Parents' Role in Preventing Abuse

Healthy Families: Parents' Role in Preventing Abuse

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, as part of the Imagine Healing Workshop Series, Survivors Healing Center presents Healthy Families: Parents' Role in Preventing Abuse.

As much as we want to, we can’t remove all danger from our children’s lives, but there are some concrete things we can do to lessen our children’s risk of abuse. Sadly, some of the aspects of traditional parenting were actually setting our children up for higher risk.

Join Tina McRorie, MA for this 90 minute workshop and learn concrete steps you can take to lower your kids’ risk of abuse, and what to do if it does happen.
