We invite you to join us for I Cantori’s Opera under the Stars featuring famous and not-so famous opera choruses, scenes and arias. Be transported to faraway places; Sevilla in Bizet’s Carmen, the Scottish Highlands in Verdi’s Macbeth or Nagasaki in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

Pack a picnic and blanket and bundle up under the stars of the legendary outdoor Forest Theater in Carmel while listening to the magic of opera. The program features I Cantori’s chorus and orchestra directed by Daniel Henriks and soloists Sandra and Christopher Bengochea.

This open-air concert is perfect if you have not yet experienced the transformative power of opera. You will recognize many melodies that are part of pop culture and have been heard in Hollywood movies.
I Cantori is proud to collaborate with amazing players and opera singers, both local and from the greater Bay Area to share in the magic of opera.

Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Please dress in layers and bring pillows and blankets to stay bundled up and cozy in case the fog rolls in.

You are welcome to pack a picnic, drinks and snacks. We will also have a deliciously stocked concession stand with local wines and tasty bites.

There is limited parking on the Theater grounds but please keep in mind you migth have to park and walk on nearby streets.
