LadySomm, Carmel’s premier destination for wine education and immersive tasting experiences, proudly announces the launch of the LadySomm Wine Club, with a celebratory unveiling event on Saturday, July 5 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at its wine lounge and tasting salon in the Barnyard Shopping Village. The LadySomm Wine Club is a first-of-its-kind experience on the Central Coast—bringing together global wine discovery, sommelier-led tastings, WSET-level classes, and wine-centered travel into one seamless community membership.

The club is the creation of sisters Roxanne Langer and Tamara Carver, who combined their expertise in wine, education, and hospitality to redefine how wine is experienced.

Roxanne Langer holds a Viticulture and Enology Certificate from UC Davis and has written a masters thesis on wine as well worked for iconic producers such as Grgich Hills and Rutherford Hill. She is also a published wine author, international wine judge and sought-after wine educator.
Tamara Carver, a certified sommelier and licensed nurse practitioner, brings 20+ years of clinical and educational leadership to LadySomm’s approach, helping design thoughtful, approachable, and joyful wine education for all levels.
“Wine brings people together,” said Langer. “With this club, we’re creating a space to explore, learn, and celebrate wine in a way that’s both enriching and fun.”
