MONTEREY, CA. (January 9th, 2023) — Sponsorships are now available for Ciao! Cioppino!, Legal Services for Seniors’ annual dinner and auction fundraiser on May 20, 2023, at The Moose Lodge in Del Rey Oaks.

Ciao! Cioppino! will feature cioppino, live and silent auctions, DJ and more. It will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at The Moose Lodge, located at 555 Canyon Del Rey Blvd., Del Rey Oaks.

Sponsorships are available on five levels, with varying benefits, depending on the level of sponsorship: Deadliest Catch, $10,000 sponsorship; Jumbo Fish, $5,000; Crab Catcher, $2,500; Clam Shell, $1,000; Shrimp, $500.

Benefits include your company logo displayed in an events slideshow; recognition in a "thank-you" ad after the event; Ciao! Cioppino! raffle and event tickets; social media posts; website spotlight; newsletter spotlights; and, for the top sponsor, an award presented to you during the event and more. In 2022, LSS assisted thousands of low-income seniors, providing them with free, confidential attorney services. LSS protected its clients and their limited assets from financial elder abuse, telephone/mail/ internet scams, consumer fraud, Social Security and Medicare mistakes, wrongful lawsuits, sloppy medical billing practices and unscrupulous landlords seeking to evict them from their homes.

The vast majority of Monterey County Seniors are financially unable to hire a private attorney. Most are on fixed incomes that do not cover their basic necessities of food, housing and medical care. LSS is often the only source of legal representation for these vulnerable clients. Dramatic and life-threatening issue, if left unaddressed, would result in a senior’s homelessness and/or serious injury.

Our local community members provide funds for these very important programs. Ciao! Cioppino! Dinner & Auction is LSS’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Events like these and support from the community ensures representation is available to every low-income senior who needs it.
