Marina Dunes Preserve Planting Event with Habitat Stewardship Project
Join us at the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District’s Marina Dunes Preserve. We will be planting native dune plants in critical habitat for the Smith’s Blue Butterfly. This is an event suitable for the whole family, snacks, tools, and gloves will be provided. Moderate hiking over sand dunes will be required to reach the restoration site, walking some distance through loose sand over steep dunes.
