MIRA’s Haunted Observatory at Weaver Student Observatory in Marina -- This Halloween, Friday, October 31st at 6:30pm!
This Halloween a Bright Comet will grace our Western Skies for the first two hours of this Event. In Ancient Times Comets were Omens of either good or bad times ahead. What will this one bring?
Feast your eyes on Saturn’s razor thin rings, and the cold, lifeless mountains of the Moon. Trick or Treat for space-themed candy! Then, under a blood-red light, make your way through our spooky Hall of Dead Astronomers on your way to remote viewing of stars and planets through our 14-inch Telescope.
Look for the White Dome next to MIRA’s Hamming Astronomy Center. Please keep your lights down when approaching the Observatory. If you have any questions please contact us.
Suitable for Adults and Children of all Ages.
