Oberlin at Hidden Valley - Five Free Concerts!

Oberlin at Hidden Valley - Five Free Concerts!
One of Hidden Valley’s hallmarks has been its many fruitful collaborations with other influential artistic and educational organizations over the past sixty years. We are so pleased to be starting this year with an exciting new collaboration with the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
Founded in 1865 at Oberlin College in Ohio, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music is the oldest continuously operating conservatory in America and a 2009 recipient of the National Medal of Arts.
This month, as part of Oberlin’s Winter Term, Oberlin music and dance students and their faculty mentors will be working on parallel projects at Hidden Valley, culminating in admission-free public performances in Carmel Valley on January 16, 18, 20 and 21.
The Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble will also perform admission-free at the Hidden Valley Theater on January 19 as part of their tour to the Bay Area for educational and outreach activities and performance at SFJAZZ.
All events are free and open to the public. Please note that there is no concert on January 17th.
