The 2nd Annual Juneteenth Film Festival returns to Stanton Center in Downtown Monterey from June 14th to June 16th. The Event celebrates Black Culture, History, and Storytelling through the Power of Cinema.

The Festival opens This Friday with a Screening at 7:00pm of “Beat Street,” a 1984 breakdancing drama starring Rae Dawn Chong, Guy Davis and Jon Chardiet.

The Event continues This Saturday with a Red Carpet Pre-Party and After-Party along with the 7:00pm Screening of “Friday Foster” starring Pam Grier.

The Festival closes This Sunday with a very special 2:00pm Matineé of “The Bingo Long Traveling All Stars and Motor Kings” starring Billy Dee Wiliams, James Earl Jones and Richard Pryor.
