The Stars Come Home!

In a star studded homecoming musical reunion, three internationally recognized vocalists from the Peninsula’s Seaside, Pacific Grove and Monterey areas will perform in a one-night only extravaganza on August 30 in Carmel for a fundraising event benefitting four local charities.

Appearing together for the first time will be acclaimed bass-baritone Marcus Nance; trailblazing soprano Leberta Loral, and lauded soprano Yolanda Mitchell West. Marcus Nance has performed at the New York Opera, the Vancouver Opera and on Broadway. Yolanda Mitchell West has performed at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Disney Concert Hall. Leberta Loral has performed concerts at the Sydney Opera House and in Munich, Germany. The trio will present individually and together in a variety of musical genres including grand opera, contemporary jazz and spiritual music.

Accompanying the trio of talented artists will be noted violinist Laua Burian, harpist Pamela Scholz, pianist Pauline Troia and Grammy-winning pianist Tammy Hall.

The event’s collaborative sponsorship is comprised of the First Baptist Church of Pacific Grove, Monterey Pay Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, Colleagues of the Arts, and the Carmel Woman’s Club. Proceeds will benefit scholarship programs of the four nonprofit organizations.
