The Whiffenpoofs Return to St. Dunstan's!

The Whiffenpoofs Return to St. Dunstan's!

The Whiffenpoofs, Yale University’s renowned collegiate a cappella group – the nation’s oldest – return to St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Carmel Valley in concert on Saturday, October 25, at 7 pm. Their last two concerts at St. Dunstan’s concerts were sellouts.
Founded in 1909, the “Whiffs” began as a senior quartet that met for weekly concerts at Mory’s Temple Bar, the famous Yale tavern in New Haven, CT. Today, the group of 14 singers has become one of Yale’s most celebrated traditions.
Singing a mixture of old Yale tunes, jazz standards, and other hits from across the decades, the Whiffenpoofs perform more than 200 concerts each year. Their characteristic white tie and tails, paired with their enthusiasm and humor, have made them a draw for audiences around the United States and across the world.
