Voices in Color: Hartnell Student Art Show 2026

A juried exhibition showcasing diverse works by Hartnell College art students, highlighting creativity, technical skill, and professional development within the Visual & Performing Arts program.
Salinas, CA — The Hartnell College Art Gallery presents the 2026 Hartnell Student Art Show, on view now through May 1, 2026. The exhibition features student work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, and mixed media.
 
This annual exhibition recognizes student creativity, technical development, and diverse artistic perspectives. All works are produced in Hartnell art courses and selected through a competitive jury process. The exhibition reflects the strength of the Visual and Performing Arts program and provides students with the opportunity to present their work in a professional gallery setting.
 
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet student artists and enjoy light refreshments, including a complimentary taco bar and wine tastings for guests 21 years of age and older.

Parking Information
Visitor parking is available for a fee of $2 in Parking Lot 4, located off Central Avenue, during gallery hours and the reception. Additional paid parking is available in Lots 3 and 5. Parking permits may be required during regular school hours.

Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
