Palenke Arts proudly presents for the first time Los Vega, Son Jarocho. Los Vega is a traditional son jarocho group that has been dedicated to preserving traditional music and dance from Veracruz, México. Their music is characterized by the balance they achieve between their cultural roots and family heritage with musical quality and stage experience. They have participated in numerous cultural and artistic festivals in the country and abroad, in countries such as China, the United States, Canada, and Colombia. The sanctuary at St. Mary's by the Sea is now open on Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. You are welcome to visit the church and hear our organist, Dr. Elliot Jones, practice on the glorious Schantz organ. Questions are welcome.
