Coastal Roots Hospitality celebrates the peak of spring season with a focus on sustainability and fresh, local ingredients. The restaurant group’s three restaurants — Montrio, Tarpy’s and Rio Grill — are highlighting California spot prawns, a sweet, sustainable seafood delicacy harvested from the pristine coastal waters.

Known for a tender texture and naturally sweet flavor, spot prawns are sustainably caught using responsible methods, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

With an increasing number of enthusiasts heading to Monterey, CA in mid-August for the world-famous Car Week, there’s been a distinct lack of affordable, accessible, organized events for gearheads. While exotic sports cars are the trademark of Car Week, Monterey Motorsports Festival celebrates all genres and brands. So visitors will be able to marvel at the fastest and most expensive hypercars while also viewing a wide array of vehicles that make the car hobby so enjoyable. In addition to the mainstream car segments, visitors can see a variety of two-wheeled transport and some of the latest heavy plant machinery for contrast and entertainment.

Running from 2 PM-10 PM on Saturday, August 16, the Monterey Motorsports Festival will ensure your eyes, stomach, and ears are satisfied by everything from a wide selection of catering options to themed cocktails. And for the kids, there’s the Family Fun Zone to check out and burn off some energy.

As darkness falls, the famous stage where Jimi Hendrix set fire to his guitar will again reverberate with musical energy as The Outlaw Mariachi (@theoutlawmariachi) take the stage with their own brand of Mariachi-style rock, followed by the evening’s headliners Don’t Stop Believing (@DSBband), rated as the best Journey cover band in the world.

When ordering the Early Bird tickets available today from montereymotorsportsfestival.com priced at just $89, visitors can choose to elevate their experience by adding the Vino & Vibes options as well as VIP Access. Both can be selected to ensure nothing is missed during the event. Vino & Vibes will provide access to the event’s wine bar with a selection of fine wines, while the VIP area will provide a place to relax, eat, drink, and hang out with friends. Both elevated options are available in limited numbers and may sell out quickly.

Prepare to experience the most dynamic and immersive event of Monterey Car Week. The Monterey Motorsports Festival on Saturday, August 16, 2025 will be a groundbreaking celebration combining the best of automotive culture with unrivalled live music in a vibrant festival atmosphere.

With most Car Week events shutting down by 5PM on Saturday evening, Monterey Motorsports Festival is just getting started on “Car Week’s Closing Night.” Running from 5-11PM, visitors will have plenty of time to enjoy the huge array of performance cars on display and grab a bite from the food area before dancing the night away with a headline performer to be announced.

Set on the iconic Monterey Fairgrounds – located just 3 miles from Cannery Row – visitors can party at two exciting live stages from 5-11PM, kicking off the evening with two diverse live music experiences. On the Main Stage, attendees can enjoy live bands delivering a chill, family-friendly, laid-back vibe. While the Arena Lawn will deliver high-energy performances by top national and local acts, culminating in a headline DJ and spectacular night show packed with lights, action and energy.

Scheduled acts on the night currently include The Outlaw Mariachi (@theoutlawmariachi) with their own brand of Mariachi-style cover-band rock as well as Don’t Stop Believing (@DSBband), rated as the best Journey cover band in the world. There’s also local bands Latin Jazz Collective and Sensory Tribe to keep the party rolling on the Main Stage. The evening’s headliner will be announced soon, so follow @MontereyMotorsportsFestival for this and more announcements.

Putting the Motorsports into the Monterey Motorsports Festival will be a stunning collection of hypercars, supercars, American muscle, race cars, JDM, European classics, and the latest EVs. Spread across the 22-acre Fairground site, the displays are perfect for car enthusiasts and families alike. Visitors can also enjoy an Exotic Car Rally and Parade, which will weave through the fairgrounds, allowing fans to hear the revving engines, feel and even smell the showcased best of the automotive artistry.
Outdoor food vendors and bars will allow visitors to savor a wide array of gourmet foods and refreshing drinks from sellers located throughout the Arena and Lawn areas. Vibrant vendors will also allow them to browse a curated selection of small businesses offering automotive accessories, unique merchandise, and lifestyle products.

The Monterey Motorsports Festival is priced to be accessible to everyone. From now until Memorial Day on May 27, Early Bird General Admission is still available at only $89 from montereymotorsportsfestival.com. Kids under 12 are admitted free, and there’s a Junior Ticket currently priced at $39 for 13-17 year olds.

Additionally, visitors can upgrade to the Vino & Vibes option at $189, which includes General Admission, access to a curated selection of top wineries, and views of the event and exclusive winery access. Vino and Vibes is the perfect way to relax, unwind, and indulge in the finer things.
