Cal Fire CZU crews help fight blazes in Los Angeles, 16-unit interim housing facility is approved for Soledad

Sixteen firefighters pose for a photo in front of their fire engines. — Members of Cal Fire CZU's Strike Team paused for a photo after more than 24 hours fighting the Palisades fire in Southern California. They described the shift as "an incredibly tough firefight with unrelenting winds."

In today’s newscast, the Santa Cruz Cal Fire unit has deployed dozens of firefighters and other resources to help fight the Palisades and Eaton fires in Southern California. Plus, the Monterey County Board of Supervisors approved a new interim housing facility in Soledad.
