In today's newscast: New legislation would tighten safety standards for battery energy storage plants, like the one in Moss Landing that caught fire last week. Plus, a wildfire mitigation program authorized under the Inflation Reduction Act appears to be moving forward despite funding cuts ordered by President Trump.
