Parents, educators and members of the public made comments on proposed updates to the "controversial issues" policy at the Pajaro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting this week.

In today's newscast, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District has delayed a decision about changing its policies on addressing "controversial issues" in classrooms. Plus, Governor Gavin Newsom announced he will send California's National Guard to help at food banks.
