Santa Cruz Mayor Fred Keeley rebuked federal plans for offshore drilling and seabed mining at a press conference in Santa Cruz this week.

In today's newscast, Monterey County wants to adopt a moratorium on new battery energy storage systems. And, local representatives condemn plans for offshore drilling and seabed mining in California.
