Measure C, an affordable housing measure backed by city leaders in Santa Cruz, receives 52% approval, according to preliminary results.

In today's newscast, Santa Cruz Measure C, a tax to support affordable housing, appears to have passed. Monterey Bay area counties also supported temporary redistricting, the statewide Proposition 50 that passed. And, a violence prevention group co-hosts a film screening about society’s narrow expectations of masculinity.
