Advocacy groups including Indivisible Salinas, Indivisible Monterey, and the Lockwood PerSisters are hosting ongoing events to assemble thousands of whistle kits to alert people of nearby ICE activity.

In today's newscast, advocacy groups organize events across Monterey County to assemble and distribute whistle kits to immigrant communities. And, a bill to reduce criminal penalties for Californians who accidentally receive overpayments in welfare support is shelved.
