Santa Cruz considers demolishing historic music venue, California changes open container definition

The Catalyst Club's current location was originally a bowling alley. Legendary artists like Neil Young, Nirvana and the Beach Boys have performed there.

In today's newscast, the City of Santa Cruz considers a plan to demolish the Catalyst Club and rebuild the venue beneath a housing development. Plus, the California Supreme Court changes the definition of an open container for cannabis in cars.
