KAZU's New Midday Lineup Starts Monday, July 1st

In response to NPR's decision to cancel Talk of the Nation and expand and re-launch WBUR’s daily show Here & Now as a two-hour national news program, 90.3 KAZU is adjusting its midday line-up.    

Starting on Monday July 1st, you will hear the following programs between 10:00am and 2:00pm.  There are no other changes to KAZU's weekday schedule.  

Monday to Thursday

10:00am to 12:00pm Here & Now, Hours 1&2

12:00pm to 2:00pm On Point, Hours 1&2

Friday

10:00am to 11:00am Here & Now, Hour 1

11:00am to 1:00pm Science Friday

1:00pm to 2:00pm On Point, Hour 1

Earlier this year NPR has announced that Talk of the Nation, hosted by Neal Conan, will end production on Thursday June 27, 2013. Science Friday with Ira Flatow will continue.   
 
 

After 35 years at NPR, 11 of them at the helm of Talk of the Nation, host Neal Conan is known as one of NPR’s most distinguished journalists, bringing extraordinary depth and insight and skill to his work.  He will leave a legacy of excellence, having skillfully carried NPR, KAZU, and the nation through some of the most important news of the last decade.  Neal Conan has some exciting plans for the future, including a move west.
