The Leon Panetta Lecture Series is back for its twenty-third year. Each spring, Secretary Leon Panetta moderates The Panetta Institute for Public Policy’s lecture series. The event brings national leaders, policy experts and journalists to the Monterey Peninsula.

This year's theme is Decision 2020: A Republic If We Can Keep It.

The first of four lectures was held on Monday, February 24. The lecture centered around the discussion of Impeachment and the Election.

The guests included FOX News Chief Political Anchor Bret Baier, CNN Commentator David Gregory, and NPR National Correspondent Mara Liasson. Secretary Panetta moderated the panel.
