Losing Our Religion: The Growth Of The 'Nones'
As religious as this country may be, many Americans are not religious at all. The group of religiously unaffiliated – dubbed "nones"-- has been growing. One-fifth of Americans say they're nones, as are one in three under 30. They're socially liberal and aren't looking for an organized religion.

A Bookstore Devastated By Sandy Limps Back With Some Help
New York's nonprofit bookstore Printed Matter in west Chelsea lost close to 10,000 books and sustained more than $200,000 in damages during Hurricane Sandy. The day after the storm, volunteers were at the store to help - even though some didn't have power themselves.

Thousands In France Protest Gay Marriage
Opponents of the French government's plans to legalize same-sex marriage and adoption took to the streets of Paris Sunday. With an estimated 350,000 marchers, the demonstration was considered one of the largest in years. The French government took note, but says it will go ahead with its plans for the law anyway.

Homeless Man Given Boots By NYC Police Officer Chooses To Go Barefoot Again
"I could lose my life," Jeffrey Hillman tells The New York Times. He fears being killed for the boots, so he isn't wearing them all the time. A photo of New York City Police Officer Lawrence DePrimo giving Hillman the footwear went viral last week.
Virginia Man Bowls Perfect Game
With a modified wheelchair and a $20 bowling ball from a yard sale, a Virginia man rolled a perfect game last week. George Holscher had 12 strikes in a row, according to The Virginian-Pilot. Holscher is the second wheelchair bowler on record to rack up 300 points.
