Emerging Composers Lab (a free public class from the Emerging Composers Intensive)
Following the first rehearsal and hearing their works rehearsed for the first time, emerging composers will gather with performing faculty members Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu (violin), David Samuel (viola), Tanya Tomkins (cello), and Drew Petersen (piano) to experiment, exchange, and play around with ideas that could improve their pieces for more successful performance at the upcoming world premieres on July 1st and 2nd at Hidden Valley. Guided by Emerging Composers Intensive composition faculty, composers Wang Jie and Nick DiBerardino.
