Golden Folk Concert feat. members of Broken Social Scene
Members of Broken Social Scene, the Juno Award-winning indie rock collective from Toronto, headline the third Golden Folk Benefit Concert. Violinist Edwin Huizinga, a 20-year Carmel Bach Festival performer and longtime BSS collaborator, joins them, and Monterey High School music students perform onstage with the band.
The show comes on the heels of Remember the Humans, the band’s first new record in nearly a decade. Performing in Monterey: Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Charles Spearin, David French and Jill Harris.
All ticket revenue goes to the Monterey High School Music Boosters, a 501(c)(3) that funds instruments, repairs, uniforms and scholarships for about 200 student musicians.
Tickets $50 to $160 plus fees. VIP and sponsor options: MHSmusicboostersconcert@gmail.com
