A special tribute to Richard Smallwood, merging classical and gospel genres. Presented by John L. "Johnny" Nash Jr. and Monterey Peninsula Gospel Community Choir, this concert features a star-filled lineup with Award-winning Composer John Wineglass, Composer/conductor Damien Sneed, and gospel artists from across the country, including: Martin Woods (Chicago baritone), Ellaina Lewis (Seattle opera soprano), Dottie Jones (original Smallwood singer), Charisse Nelson (lead singer of Vision), Robin Hodge Williams (Bay Area international gospel artist), Lawrence Matthews (original Hawkins singer), Derrick Hall M.D. and Dr. Ashton Jones and Texas Southern University Choir.
