St. Mary’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church continues its musical offerings with a holiday organ concert on Saturday, December 4th at 5:00 pm. Frequent organ soloist and choral accompanist, Dr. Cathryn Wilkinson, will play a selection of music entitled, In the Moon of Wintertime: Peaceful and Joyful Music for Advent and Christmas.

Previously from Chicago, Dr. Wilkinson has been invited to play in California for the Redwood Empire Guild of Organists in Santa Rosa, in the weekly recital series at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Salinas, and at the Church in the Forest in Pebble Beach. She recently performed as piano soloist in Ernst Bloch’s Concerto Grosso with the Monterey Peninsula College Orchestra at First Presbyterian Church in Monterey. She has presented workshops and recitals for national conventions of the Guild of Organists and the Organ Historical Society.

A $10.00 donation to support the music program at St. Mary’s is recommended. Masks will be required.
