Peace United Church (900 High Street) celebrates community and connection at its first annual FallFest from 11 am - 3 pm Saturday, October 17. This family-friendly event has free entertainment including: show tunes sing-along with choir director Cheryl Anderson, line-dancing tutorial, children’s costume dress-up & photo booth, viewing of It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Items for purchase include lunch (regular & vegan hot dogs & sausages), bake sale items, beverages and ice cream. Activities at nominal cost include face painting & pumpkin decorating. Items for purchase: used books, local jams from the Jam Queen; art cards, Homeless Garden items, jewelry and baskets, succulent planters, and spring bulbs.
