The Monterey Peninsula Quilt Guild will hold its 45th Annual “Quilts by the Bay” quilt show at Chautauqua Hall, at the corner of 16th Street and Central, in Pacific Grove on Friday, May 2nd, Saturday, May 3rd, & Sunday, May 4th, 2025. The hours on Friday and Saturday are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Open to the public. Admission is $10; people under 18 are free when accompanied by an adult. This is our showcase where we display our craft.

• There will be 200 quilts on display at the MPQG Quilt Show.
• The quilts range in size from mini to bed sized and vary in a wide array of styles including traditional, modern, and art quilts.
• Viewers can vote for their favorite quilt.
• There is mini quilt raffle and a room full of fabrics for sale.

The quilt show coincides with Pacific Grove’s annual Good Old Days on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.

MPQG was founded in 1979; we have over 200 members. Our quilters are not only artists, but very generous givers. Over the years the guild has donated hundreds of quilts to those in need, including victims of natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the Soberanes fire. Just last month MPQG provided over 75 quilts to the victims of the January fires in Southern California. We have an ongoing campaign to provide twin bed quilts to the Shuman HeartHouse so that every bed had a lovingly made quilt and we make regular, ongoing donations to several local community organizations including local NICU units, renal care patients, breast cancer patients, and many other charity needs. Last year our guild donated over 930 items to local charities.
