Rescued Hearts Film Screening Hosted by Sea Star Horse Sanctuary
Join Sea Star Horse Sanctuary of Carmel for a special screening of Rescued Hearts, the moving new documentary that’s captivating audiences worldwide. Exploring the miracles, mystery and science of healing with horses, this powerful film was born from witnessing an extraordinary moment — when a child diagnosed with autism spoke their first words while working with a horse.
Through real stories, expert insights and emerging science, the film reveals how horses help us reconnect to our hearts and our capacity to heal. After the screening, stay for an in-person conversation with the filmmakers, Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton, on stage at Golden State Theatre.
This full film presentation is exclusive to the Monterey County community and a benefit for Sea Star Horse Sanctuary, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. $35 of the ticket price is a tax-deductible donation. Rescued Hearts documentary aligns with the values and mission of Sea Star Horse Sanctuary’s programs to share the benefits of equine-assisted learning and create transformative experiences with horses.
