Most of the 32-mile Santa Cruz County rail right of way remains undeveloped, like this section near 41st Avenue in Capitola.

In today's newscast, a new report says a proposed passenger rail line between Santa Cruz and Watsonville is not getting any cheaper. And, Monterey County wants to hear from residents about how best to address sustainable transportation gaps.
