Reporter/ProducerBefore joining KAZU, Ngozi covered health, business and economy stories for WYSO in southwest Ohio and The Ohio Newsroom. She’s also worked as a freelance reporter for Reveal, The New Humanitarian and other outlets.
Her reporting has been supported by the Young Feminist Fund and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Before pursuing journalism full-time, Ngozi worked in the humanitarian aid sector.
Born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Ngozi graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and The College of Wooster. When she’s not chasing a story, Ngozi is usually buried in a good book, or binge-watching Korean drama shows.
