The third event of the 2019 Leon Panetta Lecture Series focused on the Role of Nationalism, Globalism and Patriotism.  

Speaking with Secretary Panetta were Ambassador Nicholas Burns, former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs; General John Kelly, USMC (Ret.), former White House Chief of Staff to President Trump; and Admiral William McRaven, USN (Ret.), former Commander of United States Special Operations Command.
 
The event took place Monday, April 15th at the Monterey Conference Center and aired live on 90.3 KAZU.

Krista joined KAZU in 2007. She is an award winning journalist with more than a decade of broadcast experience. Her stories have won regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from the Northern California Radio and Television News Directors Association. Prior to working at KAZU, Krista reported in Sacramento for Capital Public Radio and at television stations in Iowa. Like KAZU listeners, Krista appreciates the in-depth, long form stories that are unique to public radio. She's pleased to continue that tradition in the Monterey Bay Area.
