If a family member has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related neurocognitive disorder, a caregiver support group can offer you an opportunity to find out more about available community resources, learn from others who are going through similar experiences, and build a support system. Our Salinas caregiver support group meets on the first Wednesday of each month, without a fee. Open to family members. These groups are led by a trained facilitator and will now meet in person at the First Baptist Church.

Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in the Pajaro Valley community to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Our annual Fall Feast in the Fields is a five-course, beer, wine and cocktail-pairing dinner. Funds raised during our Fall Feast go towards supporting our farm camp, field trip and produce programs we run and the development of new curriculum for educational opportunities and in some years supporting specific projects.
