Dolores Haidee Marquez
InternA first-generation Mexican-American, Dolores Haidee Marquez is a psychology and human communication student at Cal State Monterey Bay. She brings lived experience to her work centering the voices of immigrants and the Latino community, whose stories often go unheard.
Beyond reporting, Dolores has also conducted academic research on bilingual cognition and cultural identity. She continues to explore how language, memory, and heritage shape who we are. Whether in the field, the classroom, or at her family’s small business stand, she remains committed to uplifting her community.
When she isn’t producing stories, Dolores is traveling, journaling, creating art, or spending time with her family and her dog, Teddy.
